PT's Coffee Roasting
PT's Coffee Roasting is a specialty coffee roaster founded in Topeka, Kansas, known for its Direct Trade program, single-origin offerings, and recognition as Roast Magazine's Roaster of the Year in 2009.

PT's Coffee Roasting was founded in 1993 in Topeka, Kansas, by Jeff Taylor and Fred Polzin with the goal of producing an excellent cup of coffee. Within four years of opening, the company began sourcing green coffee, roasting, and traveling to origin to establish Direct Trade partnerships. Today, nearly 80% of the coffee PT's produces is acquired through its Direct Trade program, with partners selected for social responsibility and environmental consciousness in addition to harvest quality. The roaster produces dozens of single-origin coffees and signature blends, roasted to order five days a week for retail locations, wholesale clients, and online customers. PT's operates multiple cafes in Kansas City, Missouri, and Topeka, Kansas, and its wholesale operation serves cafes, restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and businesses nationwide. The company was named Roaster of the Year by Roast Magazine in 2009 and has earned more than 50 ratings above 94 points from Coffee Review, including the No. 1 Coffee of the Year in 2022.
